This book is a collection of astonishingly inspiring writings by a developmentally challenged boy. Born with a host of developmental challenges, including inability to speak, Marshall persevered despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles. A specially designed pointing device that works with an alphabet board enables Marshall to communicate. By pointing to specific letters, which family members and/or friends then transcribed, he came to form words. From those words came the inspiring selections collected in this book.

His graceful, remarkable words are filled with the purity of his spirit and the love in his heart. In our fast-paced world with all its turmoil and tragedy, the simple and gentle wisdom of The Kiss of God is sure to make it a treasured favorite with all readers for many years to come.

In addition to these beautiful and loving pieces of inspiration, this book contains introductions to Marshall's writing that detail the circumstances under which he created each piece. The book also contains an afterword that details the powerful effect Marshall and his writing have had on those he has met.

This collection includes thoughts such as:

"My five favorite words are: Love -- a feeling of God that needs no one. Good -- the answer that gives real meaning to life. Tame -- the management of thought. Teach -- giving. Think -- how we listen".

"Answers to the good listeners that hear God. Go to God and God will teach you".
