About the author (2000)

Peterson is a family therapist specializing in prenatal and family development. She is a clinical member of The Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Diplomate with the National Association of Social Work. She is a former clinical director of the Holistic Health Program at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California and currently trains professionals throughout the country in her model of prenatal counseling. A national public speaker on women's issues and family development, she practices psychotherapy in Berkeley, California.

Odent is os the Primal Health Research Unit, London.
