2 Reviews
Travellers of all ages and budgets view their Lonely Planet guidebook as a trustworthy travel companion. Every country is covered--from Argentina to Zimbabwe--with reliable, up-to-date and practical travel advice. In each country guide are thousands of detailed listings, reviews and recommendations as well as inspirational highlight sections, a full-colour front section with stylish images, and comprehensive maps to even the smallest towns. The seventh edition of Brazil features 50 percent more coverage of sophisticated Sao Paulo, the current business hub of South America, and is the only leading guidebook with a dedicated chapter exploring Carnaval, the world's most decadent street party. There is content on eco-travel and sustainability as well as more local voices and information on volunteering opportunities.
