Review: Land of the Firebird: The Beauty of Old Russia

User Review  - Zbhall - Goodreads

Sort of the JV version of The Icon and the Ax. If only we could find one in the middle that was juuuuuuuuuust right. This book actually makes me feel extra sad about communism. The Old Russia is lost to history, but what a lovely culture it was. Read full review
