like the black boxes such as patterned motion busters (p. 269); transform exercise into motion-cise (p. 274); taking breathing breaks (p. 276).
Clear language thought at times I can still get lost
as the book is about anatomy, muscles, etc of the body, completely new area to me.
The first 3 chapters offer valuable background knowledge, "explain how a serious deficiency of 'design motion' is causing your chronic pain symptoms. Then different chapters focus on your specific condition. E-cises are a series of exercises designed to alleviate the causes of pain. "Next comes a chapter on common chronic pain problems relating to popular sports and recreational activities" such as walking, swimming, weight training, etc.The ends with a chapter of overall conditioning program of E-cises that you can use once your chronic pain symptoms abate.

About the author (2000)

Peter Egoscue, an anatomical physiologist since 1978, operates the Egoscue Method Clinic in San Diego. His exercise therapy program is acclaimed worldwide for treating chronic musculoskeletal pain attributed to workplace and sports injuries, accidents, aging, and other conditions. He has been consulted by some of the biggest names in sports. He is the co-author with Roger Gittines of Pain Free at Your PC and The Egoscue Method of Health Through Motion.

Roger Gittines is a writer living in Washington, D.C.
