Arms: a chevron between three When the second charter of the Leeds Corporation was granted, in 1661, Launcelot Iveson was appointed one of the twenty-four assistants. The arms are apparently those of the Pewterers' Company; they differ from those given to the Iveson family in Thoresby's "Ducatus Leodiensis," viz., a chevron between three blackamores' heads couped.
