The Register is a member of the Associated Press, and the only paper be tween Poughkeepsie and Albany belonging to that powerful organization-a franchise in which costs $10,000. It contains telegraphic news from all parts of the world, and a complete record of local events to the hour of going to press, and is mailed in season to reach the neighboring villages on the Hudson River, Albany Boston, and Harlem Railroads, on the evening of publication.
