Donald Charles Cameron, after several years managing an uncle's lands in the West Indies, immigrated from Scotland to "Beremboke," a sheep ranch in western Queensland, Australia in 1852. His family joined him in 1853. Descendants and relatives lived in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Scotland to the early 1600s. Includes a history of the pioneering in the Barcoo region of western Queensland.
