Front Cover
Hyland House, 1988 - Gardens - 30 pages
Sam was a city kid. She was perfectly happy living in the big block of flats and playing with her friends and her skateboard in the streets. Then her parents decided to move out to Nana's old house in the country. Sam felt sick. Sam's Garden describes what happened to Sam in the country. How she met a new, rather peculiar friend, learnt to grow things and got to know the bush birds. The story is set in an isolated bush garden, a true place of peace. This story introduces children to gardening.
