Jessie Georgina Bell (1843-1885) was born to Joseph William and Georgina Bell in Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania). In 1866 she married George Alfred Lloyd, Jr. (1843-1921). In 1868 they moved out to a station located in New South Wales called Terembone. Writing under the pseudonym of "Silverleaf" Jessie published short-stories about the Australian outback. Jessie died in 1885, leaving behind her husband and four children.
