Eleven Plus: Life Chances and Family Income Part of a longitudinal study of the lives of 142 children since they were infants, Eleven Plus examines the changes experienced by the children and their families over eleven years including changes in family structure, income, employment, housing and health. The study: explores the current situations of the children including their educational progress and looks at the differences for the children in low income families and those in more affluent families; presents the children's own perceptions of their lives at home and how they see the wider world; raises issues of social exclusion and educational disadvantage; and considers the implications of the findings for policy.
