About the author (2020)

Warwick's writing has appeared in many Australian newspapers and magazines. He is the author of The Overland Track guidebook, published by Cicerone in 2020.

Yasmin has over 20 years' experience as a project manager, ecologist and community engagement facilitator. She has worked regionally in Landcare, with Greening Australia and for the West Gippsland Catchment Authority. She has also held roles with government departments and non-government organisations on projects that combine community engagement with valuing natural areas and remnant bushland.

The Friends of the Great South West was established in 1984 to continue maintaining, upgrading and promoting the hike, in partnership with the Glenelg Shire community and Parks Victoria.
