Rachael Herron (Author)
Rachael Herron lives in Oakland, California, with her family and has way more animals than she ever planned to, though no sheep or alpaca (yet). She learned to knit at the age of five, and generally only puts the needles down to eat, write, or sleep, and sometimes not even then.

She is the author of five Cypress Hollow novels- Eliza's Gift, Lucy's Kiss, Naomi's Wish,Cora's Heartand Fiona's Flameand one standalone, Pack Up the Moon. Her novella, Eliza's Home, a prequel to Eliza's Gift, is now available as an ebook.

In 2013 Rachael proudly became a dual US/New Zealand citizen.

A fourth-generation grazier, Nicole returned to her family's property in the early 1990s. She is currently the business manager there and has a hands-on role in the running of the property.

Nicole has a Master of Letters in creative writing and her novels, poetry, travel and genealogy articles have been published in Australia, Germany, America and Singapore.

She is the author of five novels- The Bark Cutters, A Changing Land,Absolution Creek, SunsetRidgeand The Great Plains(to be released November 2014).

Margareta Osborn is a fifth-generation farmer who has lived and worked on the land all her life. She also writes about it in the Gippsland Country Lifemagazine.
