For forensic psychologist Rachel Carson, a three month tour of Southeast Asia is exactly what the doctor ordered. But a chance encounter with a charismatic expat and a welcome detour to Singapore turns her idyllic break into a frightening nightmare.

With a murder on her hands and a boyfriend about to hang, Rachel is forced to ask herself the ultimate question: If she can't tell which of the two men in her life is a cold-blooded killer, should she really be a forensic psychologist at all?
