The rest of the book gives Wiesenthal's account of his liberation in Mauthausen in May 1945, how he began the search for Nazi war criminals, and subsequent events, including attempts to track down some of the most infamous - e.g. Adolf Eichmann, Josef Mengele, Franz Stangl, and Martin Bormann. |
