A clearly biased and political diatribe in support of power by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology. Moreover, much of the dogma is erroneous (e.g. American Board of Professional Neuropsychology is recognized by APA and it’s credentialing power as an equally legitimate Board as the aforementioned ABCN). More importantly, these silly power struggles do nothing positive for patients, referring physicians, or neuropsychology! Neuropsychologists should focus on joining forces and talent rather than engaging in “my club is better than your club” acts of tedium. Avoid this biased agenda, take two doses of humility, and thank me in the morning.
