“Oh what a piece of crap. Ouch, I am cutting myself here to the bone, it hurts to criticize CH. I love her style, her characters and the worlds she creates but this was so cut and dry, it was like reading wikipedia the short version. The whole books was just an alphabetical listing of all the characters and a brief sometime only a few sentences bit on basically what happened to them. There was nothing, interesting, no surprises, just the facts. It was so cold, emotionless, and dull. There was no love of the characters written into the last details. I barely remember 3/4 of these characters really, they and such little parts. I can see that she is done, burned out and tired of the BonTemp's gang.
