Buying Online For Dummies addresses the large audience of Internet shoppers and helps turn them into Internet buyers with advice on how to make informed online purchases. This book helps readers set up an Internet connection optimized for online shopping, find the best online stores and shops, make secure transactions, and follow-up on problem orders. Buying Online For Dummies helps readers understand the differences between buying off the Internet versus buying from online services like AOL or the Microsoft Network, as well as alternative purchasing options such as CyberCash accounts. Buying Online For Dummies also includes a significant directory of sites selling everything from Apples (as in the computers) to Zebras (as in the printers) where shoppers can feel safe and satisfied.
