I felt that my whole life was falling apart and I was constantly defending myself and always
liked to be right.More often than nought,I always ended up in quarrels and disagreements.
Athese
incidents was slowly shattering my hopes of leading a peaceful and harmonius
lifestyle full with happiness. I was always under the impression that my son was disobeying
my instructions. During my courting days with my wife,I was a book-worm,and though I
never listened to what my wife was saying,I always nodded in approval until she discovered
that I did not listen to a word what she said..
It happened one day by chance coupled with vibrations from the UNIVERSE that my son
asked me 'Just to read ONLY the first one or two pages of Dtephen Covey's 7 habits of
Effective People that really gave me the paradigm shift----- I knew from the personal
experence of Stephen Covey's memories written by his OWN children, that I came to
understand that I NEEDED THAT CHANGE IN my life. So here I am,from a nagging father
to a Transformed humble, understanding and joyful parent, and besides being business partners.
we are friends. So my advice that at age 65,if I could change by his books, then why can't you?
