64th Virginia InfantryThe 64th Virginia Mounted Infantry Regiment was organized in 1862 by the consolidation of the 21st and 29th Battalions of Virginia Infantry. Two-thirds of the regiment's force was captured in 1863. The remainder either went to other assignments before or surrendered in 1865. |
