Americ̆ki bogovi Shadow's wife is killed in a car crash and he is released from prison. He takes up with Wednesday, who is much more than he appears. In fact, he is Odin the All-Father of Norse mythology, who is roaming America rounding up his forgotten fellows in preparation for an epic battle. His enemies include television and the internet. Shadow agrees to help Wednesday, and they enter a psycho-spiritual storm that becomes all too real. He soon learns that his role will be far more dangerous than he could ever have imagined. |
