This is a wonderful 'lockdown' book. We are a group of women of a certain age who love thrillers and get together once a month to discuss our most recent reads. This month it was 'The Thursday Murder Club'. How could we resist the temptation to give our club that name? So we did and are now officially charter members of the Beaminster Thursday Murder Club.
The book was perfect. It was a real mystery without gruesome detail (mostly) but with lots of suspense and witty banter. I would recommend it without reservation to anyone who needs a bit of diversionary entertainment and who appreciates a well written 'whodunnit'.
We are delighted that you are going to be in our 'neck of the woods' at the Bridport Literary Festival. I am getting the TShirts printed now and hope that the evil COVID is not going to spoil our fun.
We have the second book on order and thank you so much for the fun we are having with your writing. Ginger Jane, Mad Hilary and Evil Elaine
