His pocket cartoons appeared in the Daily Express for over 40 years. He wrote a string of books on architecture, design and English life, as well as travelogues on Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. His theatre work included stage design and costumes for Covent Garden, Glyndebourne and Sadlers Wells. |
