Love and War by Nora Roberts

Opposites Attract

They were like night and day- Ty Starbuck, a man whose temper was only rivalled by his passion, and Asher Wolfe, infamous for her icy control. Lies and misunderstanding had separated the once-steamy couple three years ago and now Asher's return was about to bring them back together once more

But they were no longer free to be the lovers they once were. There were too many wounds from the past. Too many secrets. For Asher had left Ty without a word and hastily married another. Now she was back, single again and just as beautiful as ever. And now Ty wanted answers for the pain she had caused him all those years ago.He also wanted her in his bed again, if for no other reason than to quench his cruel desire for her- and remind her of all that she had given up

From This Day

Like the lovely Vermont inn she managed, BJ Clark was charming and old-fashioned. And she had no intention of allowing the new owner, hotel tycoon Taylor Reynolds,to modernise her beloved inn and destroy its uniqueness.

Taylor lived a fast-paced life of high-tech surroundings and sleek, sophisticated women. But his fascination with this innocent enchantress made him long to live in BJ's arms from this day until forever.
