Chris Ellis and Julie Ellis are true-crime researchers and coauthors of Killer Catchers (with Andy Owens), which details the use of new forensic techniques to solve murder cases.

Actress, playwright and producer Julie Ellis was born in Columbus, Georgia and moved to New York at the age of sixteen to begin her successful career. Her first novel was published in 1960 and from then to 1974, she wrote 143 contemporary, gothic and romantic suspense novels. Ellis has been a single mother, since 1972, with son Richard and daughter Susan.
