About the author (1996)

Anne McCaffrey is the author of Freedom's Landing, Freedom's Choice, and Freedom's Challenge. In 1999 she received the Margaret A. Edwards Award, given by the American Library Association, for lifetime achievement. One of science fiction's most beloved writers, Anne lives in Ireland.
Elizabeth Ann Scarborough is the author of the Nebula Award-winning novel Healer's War, which draws on her experiences as a nurse in Vietnam, and the critically acclaimed Nothing Sacred, as well as numerous other novels. She lives in Port Townsend, Washington.
