This look-book includes 80 photos (not including front or back cover) of beautiful lilies hybridized by the talented lily breeder Fred Fellner in Alberta Canada. Mr. Fellner's lilies are world-renowned with many lily breeders around the globe who find his lilies highly desirable as parents in their own breeding programs.

There are over 6000 named and registered lily varieties in the RHS Lily Register and there is no doubt identification can be difficult, particularly with those having only subtle differences. This book featuring named varieties with photos can also serve as a reliable identification tool of many of Mr. Fellner's hybrids.

About the author

Lynnette Westfall was a commercial grower of lily bulbs in Alberta, Canada for exactly 30 years before retiring the business entirely in 2020. Growing well over 20 thousand bulbs at any given time for a number of years, she marketed and sold lily bulbs primarily through her web site https://plantlilies.com and under the business names of Valley K Greenhouses (1990-2009) and Valley K Lily Ranch (2009-2020). During that time she came to know and appreciate a great many Canadian lily hybridizers as well as their lilies, realizing Canadian hybrids were often superior to all others. This knowledge sparked an interest and a dedication to preserve all Canadian hybrid and heritage lilies. Now in retirement, she can finally dedicate her time to preserving the Canadian heritage hybrids in her private gardens as well as in books such as this and in print. She still maintains the web site plantlilies.com as a lily reference site for gardeners and lily lovers around the world.
