About the author (1988)

Stephanie Barron is a lifelong admirer of Austen's work. The first five Austen mysteries appeared on the bestseller lists of "The Denver Post", "The Armchair Detective", and Rue Morgue. As Francine Mathews, the author has written four Merry Folger mysteries, including "Death in a Cold Hard Light", and, most recently, an international thriller, "The Cutout".
