** spoiler alert ** After finishing the first book, I immediately started to reread this one. I definitely like this book more then the first one. This one starts to get into the thick of the main plot of the series. We start to learn more about our main characters and get introduced to a whole new cast of people, like the Ron's family, Mr. Lockheart, Dobby, etc. Plus, this one is just a lot more fun to read. More action, more adventure, it's just a fun read.
A quote that I liked from the book was, “It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities (Rowling 333).” This quotes well with the essential question, are there certain truths that can be considered universal or absolute? Harry had been questioning that he made the wrong choice based on his abilities, and finally he asks Dumbledore his opinion, he says that quote. People have to understand that they should live their lives the way they want to, and not have to do what their good at if they don't like it. This is something that everyone has the right to do, so I do believe this is universal.
I would once again this book to anyone who likes a good read. The action and story is definitely better in this one, but it is more dark then its predecessor. Overall it was a very enjoyable read, and I am glad I reread it.
